Question is a bit vague...compare them how? A lawyer is a lawyer and a lay person isn't a lawyer! Can you be a bit more specific?? Criminal cases deal with crimes and civil cases deal with legal relationships not involving criminal activity e.g. breach of contract, human rights, family law, negligence, company law...anything that isn't criminal is civil...If you could re-word your question, stating exactly what you need, I'll be happy to give you more information.I need to compare lay people and lawyers and explain the relationship between criminal and civil cases?
Professional vs. non-professional / layperson
Criminal law: Violations against the state or government set laws. This includes Criminal acts against citizens. Eg. The people vs. ***** name.
Civil law: People and or businesses sue each other or others. Contract litigation. People getting divorced and associated custody matters.I need to compare lay people and lawyers and explain the relationship between criminal and civil cases?
