North Carolina: What happens when you win a civil case and the person does not pay?

Went to small claims court against a company and won a 5K judgement, the judge said the company has 10 days to appeal, they do not appeal, neither do they pay. What is the next course, step to be taken? Thanks.North Carolina: What happens when you win a civil case and the person does not pay?
You ask the court to ';execute'; the judgement. They can ';attach'; any of their assets including real estate altho many companies lease their buildings.

If you loaned money to an individual you still wouldn't be getting paid. I've got that going right now. But at least he is paying 22% every time he buys a car (with my money). The company you won a judgement against might pay up if you push. Why did you loan a company money in the first place? or did they cheat you out of your money?North Carolina: What happens when you win a civil case and the person does not pay?
Civil Court. In a way, Small Claims Court is useless since they will give you a judgement but no help collecting. Even in Civil Court you may end up placing liens on property the person owns.
