How do I file a civil case for emotional damages?

As a child I was molested by my father. He went to prison for this but it was prior to Megan's law so he isn't registered as

a convicted sex offender. There where other victums and he

went to jail twice for molesting little girls from the neighborhoods we lived in.He lives down the street from a

playground and drives a van with a bed in the back.

Someone needs to stop him from doing this again.

Since he was arested for the abuse when I was 13 and

now I'm 35 is it too late to take him to court? How do I file a civil case for emotional damages?
You might be able to get an attorney to file a suit for you, but what would be the point? Is he wealthy or due to become wealthy?

I would say forget the suit and report him to authorities every time you see him do something suspicious. You are correct that he needs to be in jail, but they will need help, like you, to get it done. How do I file a civil case for emotional damages?
I would post up his picture everywhere around the areas he frequents. First get diagnosed for emotional or any other mental damages such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from a psychiatrist or psychologist. You can contact an attorney but who are you going to sue? Your father or the legal system? You may and may not have a case, but you need to show damages such as PTSD. Try contacting the media and tell them that he is driving around the neighborhoods with a bed in the back. Well, I would sue the legal system for letting a sick man out like him out too early. Talk, tell everyone what he is doing and what he's done.

I have read and seen on the news about people in their 40's or 50's who were sexually abused by Catholic Priest or whatever and they won cases dating back decades.
You had one year from the time you turned 18 in most States to file a civil suit for damages. I'm afraid you let the statute of limitations pass. The statutes may be slightly different in each State, but generally the most time given is no more than 5 years in any State. So your answer is no.

He may not be a registered sex offender, but he does have a record of sexual offenses. You can call your local police and express concern, at least they might keep an eye on him.
Why don't you contact the detectives at your local police department and explain to them the risk those children face? He could be molesting several of them every week and no one has any idea that it's happening.

With the help of responsible adults like yourself these creeping b@$turds can be canned again for life.

Thanks for asking.
uh...yeah...move on lady!
