My mom is involved (she is the defendant I guess) in a civil case in Michigan and got a letter saying she has to show up for a status hearing. We're wondering what exactly that will mean!What happens at a status hearing for a civil case in Michigan?
A status hearing is set to determine if both sides are prepared for trial and also to see if their is a chance of a settlement without going to trial.~~
